Manitoba Liberals Nominate Loren Braul for Borderland

ALTONA – This evening, Manitoba Liberals nominated Loren Braul as the candidate for Borderland in the upcoming provincial election. Braul, an active lawyer, brings a wealth of experience to the Manitoba Liberal team along with great passion for the community in which he serves and lives.

"The communities that make up the Borderland constituency need responsible representation. They need an active voice in the legislature that will take their concerns seriously," said Braul. “I have heard from many people that there is a desire for new energy, voices, and ideas. I look forward to being that option for the residents of Borderland.”

Braul is passionate about strong, liveable communities and he actively volunteers with numerous organizations in his community. Braul serves as a vice-chair of the Altona Community Foundation and as moderator for the Altona Mennonite Church. Braul’s respect and appreciation of diversity is shown through his commitment as the board chair of Regional Connections, which provides settlement, language, and employment services to newcomer's in the Pembina Valley.

“I am honoured and excited that Loren is running with the Manitoba Liberal team. He is a great candidate and will serve Borderland with tremendous passion as their MLA,” said Dougald Lamont, Leader of the Manitoba Liberal Party.
